Where are they made?

Steel quality?

How do they lock? Is the lock good?

Overall quality for a small EDC knife?

It seems decent for the money.

Thanks in advance,

Christopher

I've had mine for a couple of months and love mine. I like the new clip style. Its made of 440C steel, so it has a good edge and holds pretty well. The handle is FRN but you almost don't notice, its a much nicer style. Good grip to it as well. Decent pricing on it and I like the new lock as well. Plus its fun to hand to a friend let them open it and then try and figure out how to close it. (hehe) Overall I think Sal made a great knife (Navigator) and made it better. But this is just my 2 cents worth.

I've not got one YET, but...

Same size shape of the excellent Navigator,

Decent steel.

Great price.

Trick phantom lock & cool wire clip.

you can't lose :)

and....

The reverse S bladed Meercat is made in Japan I think and has a different steel.

when youget one make srue you can check it out first. I have had a problem with two straight from the store that the clip side scale was seperating from the liner. not sure if they were mishandled at the store or what but just to be on the safe side check it out first. other than that it is a very handy knife and it does have some gee whiz factor with the phantom lock.
