my price limit would be 25 bucks.

i have a stauer colosus hybrid watch i got for christmas and want a non metal watch band for it. what would you suggest?

You can hardly go wrong with the Maratac line at countycomm. Beware though, lots of other gadgets and toys available:D

I love the Zulu straps. Here's the desert tan on my Orient "Sub":

The Band usually found at camping stores.just a nice big loop of nylon and velcro.i've had one on my g-shock for years.it will fit everything from my daughters wrist to mine inside a submersion suit.toss it in the wash every now and then when it gets smelly.comes in different widths and colors.very tough, simple and comfortable.cheap too

I highly recommend the Zulu bands. I wore out a lot of the $5-6 plastic and nylon bands that you get at the local drug store. A typical band would last me a year maybe a little longer. I cringed a little at the price, thought it was a little steep for a nylon band.... that was about 4 years ago. It is still in excellent shape, no fraying or stretched out holes from the buckle, gets every day use. I got mine from Westcoastime.

ok you guys talked me into a zulu band, i ordered one with some extra pins. so hopefully it will work, try to resize the metal band on my watch and breaking pins and everything else. so frustrating.

I love the Maratac silicone deployment strap from Countycomm. It is the best strap I have ever tried.Just wish they would offer a 24mm in it.

this is my stauer collosus with the maratac zulu watch band you guys recommended me. i like it so far.

I see you got a 4 ring zulu, nice choice. I am currently wearing a 2 ring on my watch right now.
How do you like the Colossus?

only worn it once so far, but its pretty cool .

i only wear watches on the weekend. i work on car lot during the week. so its not a good place for a watch.

do you like your two ring zulu?

I like it. I only wear it when hard work is in store though (think sliding down a 10 ft slope covered with 20-70lb rocks) and during the winter. Usually I wear a steel bracelet.
Back to the zulu- It has held up remarkably well, the only noticeable wear is on one of the rings and the buckle where some of the paint has worn off.
On the topic of car lot watches- I had a teacher who worked on cars as a hobby all the time. He wore a Casio Forester, because the band didn't have a buckle to scratch his work, and he wore it with the head on the inside of his wrist. maybe you can consider something similar if you want to start wearing a watch to work.
