What are some reputable online stores...

I've had good dealings with Fred at the Knife Outlet (www.knifeoutlet.com)and Mark with MJ&S Knives (www.mjsknives.com). By reputaion alone, Louis at The Martial Way (www.angelfire.com/ny2/themartialway). There are other good dealers but I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with them, yet

I have very good experience with KnifeCenter and Toolshop (Germany). But I live in Britian. No problems with postal deliveries so far.

Don't forget that the BF store sometimes carries knives and always has accessories.

You didn't say. Custom (handmade) or Production (factory). I usually hate to make 'yeah, what he said' posts, but StJames list is very thorough. You will have a good shopping And buying experience with Any of those dealers. www.knifecenter.com is my favorite for production knives. www.knifeart.com for customs. From the sounds of Mr. Mattis' posts, I don't think you will go wrong with www.chaicutlery.com either. His mix knives is Very good and the web site is well organized. Don't be afraid to do online transactions, they are safe. If you want to call, I'm sure Mr. Mattis will treat you very well.

Brian at Discount Knives of the Internet has served me well and promptly several times over the past few years. He will sell for 10% under any other valid internet price.

The only problem that people have had with him is getting through to him on the phone. He is a one man operation, so his phone is fairly busy. So e-mail your order to him.

thanks for all the feedback everyone. This was my first time visiting/posting to this forum and you all have more than helpful. I'll try and keep everyone informed of which knife I get.

The knifecenter. Sure, there are a lot of places with better prices, but the knifecenter has the biggest selection and IMO the best customer service. I trust them more than anywhere else. Plus, even if your not buying anything, it's a fun site to mess around on with all the product reviews and such.
