I'm a knife a collector and I live in a county that requires knives to be under 3 inches. I already have a few spyderco.s and a PT.

Do you guys have any suggestions on knives with blades inder 3 inches?

Benchmade Mini-Griptilians are just under 3". Do they have to be under 3" or is 3" the limit? Here in Milwaukee the knives can be 3" or under for carry.

The Spyderco Delica 4 is just under 3" (about 2.8").

Here are some more that I own, besides the Delica, that I think are some of the best sub-3" that money can buy:

Spyderco Dragonfly (well under 3", about 2.25")
Spyderco Lava (well under 3", about 1.8")
Spyderco Salsa (2.5")
Kershaw Junkyard Dog (the I, not the II, about 2.9")
Spyderco FRN Native (just a hair under 3", including the choil, edge is 2.5")
Spyderco Scorpius (again, just a hair under 3" w/ choil, edge is 2.5")
Boker Subcom and variants (all well under 3", about 2")
Spyderco Pro-Grip (about 2.75")
Spyderco Harpy (about 2.75")

I forgot to say welcome to BF, Nathan!:)

Which Spyderco models do you already have?

Per Benchmade's specs the 707 Sequel has a blade that is just a little less than 3 inches long.

Al Mar Ultralight Hawk (2.75" blade), truly shaving sharp out of the box. It's incredibly thin and light, never fails to impress.

The Buck Mayo/Waimea is an outstanding little knife. Titanium framelock, S30V, and a Paul Bos heat treat are a tough combination to beat. (Since I've gotten my Waimea I've actually carried it more more than I have my small classic Sebenza)

whats the blade on my M16-12 ? that is one of the best knives i own. as i am not afraid to use it. cos i can replace it if i break it. not like my CQC7. which i have never used to cut anything its such a safe queen..

A bunch of the Bark River knives have blades under 3". Some of these are:
PSK
Little Creek
Mikro-Canadian
Mini-Canadian
Lil' Tusk
Mini Skinner

I have a mini Skinner on the way to me. If you are interested, I'll let you know what I think of it.

I own several that would fit the requirements...

A. G. Russell Frame-Lock Spear Point
top - CRKT Rollock
bottom - Spyderco Spur
Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn Mini Covert

The Ag Russell is my favorite of the group but the CRKT is a close second and very unusual as well. It is a copy of the Benchmark Rolox and is a very slick little knife that is amazingly under 10 bucks. It is also very PC for a locking knife.

2 options that are more "gentleman"-like in style:
- Spyderco Kiwi
- I think that most Mcusta models have blades that are a tiny bit smaller than 3 inch

You got to get an Emerson Combat Karambit if you still haven't got one. It has a 2.6 inch blade.

If you can carry a fixed a bark river PSK is a excellent knife fits even bigger hands well ,sharpens razor sharp ,slices like a razor.
Its a perfect small fixed blade IMO but its thin so i wouldnt pry with it but why would any one pry much with a 2 inch blade.
