Hey everyone, it's my first post here so please be kind lol.
My best friends marriage anniversary is coming up and i'm kinda known as the knife guy, always as one and always knows something about them, so they have a Cangshan S1 knife set they bought wayyyyy back and they've been wanting a damascus knife for a while, i want to buy them the QSP Mulan Santoku and Guyoto, what are the main size differences and will they fit in their block?

I was wondering. Are you certain that's what you want to do?
Several reasons why I'm asking.
Cangshan S1 isn't precisely "the" top of the list type of knife.
Then QSP Mulan isn't either. (Just the steel they use, 14C28N, well, not bad, but still entry-level)
Moreover, if you want to go for santoku and gyuto, why not go for some Japanese original?
This knowing, of course the pros and cons of both te models and the origins.
If it's a budget matter, why not choose either santoku or gyuto (not both) but spend more on the quality?
Just my 2 cents.

No idea. Ring the shop and get the dimensions.

Or buy a new presentation block for your new la, de ,da knife.

I like the wooden magnetic ones that show off the whole knife.

Chef Panko did a recent review of QSP knives on his web site--just Google Chef Panko. That should be a good starting point for your search.

How about skipping on a pair and buy your friends one Shun Santoku with VG10 sandwiched between damascus?
It has a class look and will outperform that QSP steel.
