replacement clip for my 740 Dejavoo? Snagged the clip the other day and not only bent it nearly straight but twisted it as well. Just emailed BM to see if it's possible to purchase a new clip since this is a discontinued model. Keeping my fingers crossed. If not does anyone know what clip from a current production model might fit? TIA
 
Can't hurt to call and check. If they don't, you might try one from an Axis Stryker or Triage. The style is similar but im not sure about the hole pattern.
 
probably a pretty good chance. They had a clip for my 760 Lum Tanto. They didn't even have to look for it. I was at the factory store and they slapped a new clip and new edge on it in about 5 minutes.
 
I would check ebay, plenty of people make customs clips for different models and in different anodized colors
 
I may do that but I'd like to keep it original if possible.

They will have a clip that matches.. might not be from the original dejavoo, but they will have one that mates it.. call them.. emailing them gets you nowhere fast!
 
Update:

Got an email from the BM customer Service Supervisor last night that they are sending me a new clip set free of charge as part of their warranty service! Totally unexpected as I in no way consider my catching the clip on a chair arm as a warranty issue. Thank you Benchmade!
 
Good to know they have older clips. I've snagged my Mini Skirmish clip twice now. Second time it was about 1/4in off the frame. Bent it back and it works fine for now. I may inquire about a replacement though just in case.
 
Final Update

Received the replacement clip and screws today and everything fit perfectly. Thank you Benchmade!
 
Glad they took care of you, they must have a huge spare parts inventory to keep so many older models going!
