What are the rarest of the Swamp Rat's?

Hey guys... new to the forums here, but I am a big fan of swamp rat knives and just curious which of the items since the beginning are the rarest to find? I am looking for a ratweiler or chopweiler or even a tazrat if anyone has one for sale (these may not be rare, but...). Again, just curious not from even a value standpoint, but from a rarity point of view which knives are the hardest to obtain? If anyone has any pics of any rare rats... would love to see. TY all and have a wonderful day. :)
 
original dog skinner (not the custom shop one)? I think I've seen one on the exchange in like 3 years...

think I had thread in WTB for 3 months w/out a nibble! :(
 
There's a great looking blade called the Desert Jack (or something along those lines). They probably aren't the rarest-of-the-rare, but are sweet and at least kind of rare...

+1...I am VERY lucky to have a Desert Jack. I find the blade shape, ergos, and steel type to be superior to the legendary SHSJ...IMHO of course. A 6'' Jack made of differentially heat treated SR-101 = perfection!

Another rarity that you don't see many of is the Bandicoot or INFIcoot. One just came up on the exchange, but it didn't last long. It is a very functional EDC/utility knife, and just PERFECT for destroying or slicing boxes, and for work around the house/yard.
 
I think this is a "one of," but either way she is purdy.

I surprised no one has mentioned the Rat Hunter yet, don't see those very often.
Original Satin Battle Rat is another rare one, especially with the black handles ;)

What about the Rat Daddy LE? Ive never even seen a picture of one other than the stock photo/ google search. Does anyone on here have one?
 
What blade is that snwbrd? Is that the Desert Jack... or no. Either way, love the blade. I'm a big fan of serrated blades or partial serration myself. Best for utility usage. Thx guys. C.

That...my friend...is a custom shop SAR Rat with snake skin micarta! The only known Rat to have snake skin scales...
 
Bog Dog D2 is Rare, I think. The "Hands of the Masters were made in small batches, The Rat Tail, I think was one name, and there was a Skinner that was really sweet as well, Not the dog skinner, But I think the guest designer was Mike Thourogh? Spelling anyone?

I imagine the safari skinner. A couple years ago a bunch passed through here, at first they were going cheap and then higher. I'm gonna guess Thourout?

I tried emailing him a couple months ago to try and find a dog skinner- no luck! :eek::grumpy::D

You say that like like there is more than just YOURS!!!:D

I have 2 regular SBRs, by far, my favorite....along with gen 1 howler and the Rat Daddy.

You have to share your BHSBR with us sometime.:thumbup::thumbup:
