Hi I’m looking for info on these knives. Who made them etc not looking for value but about their make and origin etc. I collected all these knives as a kid but don’t have memory of much info about them now. Just now getting back into knives several decades later.

One has the name ray cook but I can’t find much info about him.

The fixed blade has the initials MC and the number 800 on the spine

The black slip joint just has a symbol and 1977.

Any help is much appreciated

Handmade knives. Looks like 1970s era. I don't recognize the maker's name/initials/mark.

Edit: I see one even has a 1977 date on it's blade.

The fixed is actually 008 as you can see by the slightly smaller circle top typical of an 8 don't know any more than that except it's a nice blade for sure and I agree with ^^^

Ray Cook is probably Ray Cook of the Chattahoochee Cutlery Club. That was an old time cutlery club in Georgia, and Ray Cook did a lot of customizing and knife making for them 70's - 90's. I can't find an Email for Cattahootchee, but he also did some stuff for Flint River Knife Club - https://www.flintriverknifeclub.com/ . They might remember him.
