Information:
I bought these knives in a store in a small town, however they didn't have any information about them. They both came in their original boxes. If you could give me some Information about them (Real or Fake, Model) it would really help me out.

Thanks if anyone can help me out.

They both look fake to me, I would return them if at all possible and order something better online.

Kershaw Zing Tanto - $35
Cold Steel Mini Recon 1 - $35
ESEE Zancudo - $31

You'll be glad you did.

As a general rule, any knives that you find in a store that isn't a sporting store, gun range, or outdoors store, is going to be a cheap china POS. Best places to buy knives are online.

Those are extremely fake in every aspect of the word.
Look at GPKnives.com
Family run business and paid Bladeforums dealer.

For rule of thumb almost all reputable knife manufactures will include information either about the knife care of the knife or history of the company if you don't have any of these things bet your money it's most likely a fake. You can get a buck 110 @Sally world and get that info and a good knife .

That fake Cold Steel is clearly shown in the Counterfeit Gallery at the CS website.

I'd say it slightly differently, "The best place to buy knives is from a reputable dealer, either online or not." There are plenty of fakes, frauds, and counterfeits out there on the internet.

Whether you order online or buy at their brick-and-mortar locations, no BladeForums sponsor dealer would have sold those fakes.

I was referring to places such as bladehq, newgrahamknives, etc. Should have been more clear on that.

Absolutely. I'd also point out that many of the best-known online dealers also have physical storefronts as well. AG Russell, Grand Prairie, Newgraham...
