What are they worth

With respect to factory-made knives, I agree with John_B - one way to start would be to look up completed auctions of the same or similar knives on eBay. Generally, you'll need to know the company that made the knife and if you look at enough pics you probably can figure out the model. FYI, eBay categories usually distinguish between fixed blade knives and folding knives.

eBay is a good place to start. Also buying a membership here so you can ask about them might be worth it just for the knowledge here, and if you’re looking to sell then of course you had that option.

In many instances you have to know what you got. Many knives are not worth what you want them to be. An example would be a vintage schrade old timer. Maybe it’s been out of production 30 years and you’d think wow $100. But in reality it brings $20 because it’s not in that perfect pristine condition a collector would want. So a user like me buys it. But a buck 184 will command well into the hundreds. If it was new in the box with papers? Maybe a grand?

Try looking at them on

Thanks most of the collection has original packaging. This helps alot. I've been using all about pocket knives

Take a group shot. Use a third party host to post a picture. We cant give you a value, but we can tell you if you’re wasting your time or not.

I find AllAbout Pocket Knives prices slightly higher then what you find here on forum.( which are more realistic )

Some of those are neat. That old schrade with the bead work sheath is neat. I bet a collector would love to get ahold of it. And they’d hate to see me get ahold of it, cause I’d wear it and use it (gently), but that ruins the collector value.

I can’t tell what a lot of that is. Many of those schrade USA will be desirable. To a knife person, though, the lowliest user is desirable.

The bucks mostly look like not collectible to me but I’m not as up on bucks.

It’s pretty neat overall thanks for sharing.
