have a leather belt loop for my tomahawk that is held together by four unknown type of rivets. Can someone please advise what type and possibly size the rivets are? I will try to attach a pic...well I guess I can't so I'll describe the rivet as best I can...the heads on both sides are perfectly flat and 3/8" in dia. They go through three pieces of leather totaling 3/8" in thickness. The maker used four of these totally. Thank you, MD

Double cap?

Hopefully Kiah can identify them. That was in a store bought sheath I believe they were rapid rivets

Yeah, I would think they're what are called "double cap rivets" (rapid rivets, ect). My knowledge there is pretty limited though, so hopefully one of our leather guys can confirm or correct.

If they show front and back like the picture, ie, finished dome, then they are "double cap" rivets.

If one side is dome and the other has a hole in it, then you have a "rapid rivet"

Either one comes in many lengths, so length of post means little
