............... with your new NMFSHLE? I am getting more and more excited about mine! Especially since chopridesanRC51 told me the he got me my #459. I plan on breaking in my new firepit and chopping the first firewood used in it with mine. My b-day is Halloween, and I was going to do it the weekend before with friends, but I don't think the NMFSHLE will be here by then.

Anyhow, what will you do with yours?
 
Once I have mine in hand it will be easier to decide its role.

I'm guessing eventually I'll pair it with a few other knives and pack it into/onto a well equipped BOB. Say 2 ppl 14 comfortable (/ 20 rationed) day type setup.
 
It will definitely be used for chopping and I really want to get a killer sheath for it!!! :D
 
Gonna chop and chop and chop and chop until it hurts. Then go chop some more.
 
Put it in my safe and get it out everytime I feel like buying another knife..... and then say " I don't need another knife.....I already have this one....":D
 
Thinking about taking it to the PO and sending it off to get tigerhide mags.
 
I'm going to enjoy mine to the fullest.

I may even cut something with one of them.

I'm going to relish the black paper micarta handles for their beauty combined with the stunning satin blade and also knowing I will never wear them out.

I wish they would ship tomorrow.

Since Snakeskin is no more, black is my favorite. I like black G10, but black paper is warmer feeling. I won't be changing mine, except with use. I wish they shipped already!

I can't wait to see it as well! I didn't realize you could send knives into the custom shop to get new handles, very cool! I might have to check that out.
