I am looking forward to picking up a few knives this year.

The new BRKT Hudson Bay;
Zero Tolerance 562;
hoping Scott Gossman makes another Polaris with either desert ironwood or osage orange.

I'd really like to handle Tony Bose's 2014 lockback whittler collaboration with Case before I commit to one.

What are you looking forward to this year?

This year my girlfriend and I agreed that I'd have to finish paying off my credit card debt before I could continue buying knives, but we agreed I could get one last knife until I pay it off completely. The last knife I got was a pretty rare Fox 599 Karambit and it was my first karambit. As soon as I'm done paying my credit card I look forward to expanding the Karambit family in my knife collection with an Emerson Combat Karambit and the Spyderco Karahawk!

I'm looking forward to the Kershaw Strobe, Nura 3.5, and the new G10 Cryo. I'm also excited about the new Boker Griplock.

I'm looking forward to trying my best at not buying any more knives after my last two orders are in.

We'll see how that goes...

I want the Karahawk, ZT 562, ZT 0801 and the ZT/Emerson colaboration (CF version if possible), a couple of Microtech OTFs, couple of GEC patterns, a Survive! knife or two... the list is endless.

My only problem is that importing stuff from the US is getting harder and harder, as my country's government is passing a lot of very restrictive measures. I'll have to rely on friends and family who come visit to get me the knives.

BM 940-1, BM Axis Stryker, ZT 180 are on my short list, ZT 0562CF if I can find one when I have spare funds

I'm looking forward to completing my semi-customs: replacing the blades on Kershaw Cryo II and Scrambler with custom blades in O1 with a convex grind.

I have my super-long-and-never-getting-any-shorter want list but I'm cutting back on the buying of knives for 2014 and concentrating on enjoying, embellishing, using and sharpening my current collection.

I will still be buying a few knives this year, I've got my most wanted ones highlighted but I'm going to stick to no more than one purchase every month no matter how good of a deal I run across (and actually doing it this far, tho I already have my February purchase lined up). For February I got myself a Domino.

March will be a Spyderco P'Kal
April will be a Benchmade 943
Then in random order:
Kershaw CQC-4K and/or 5K
Spyderco Caly 3.5 CF/ZDP or G10/Super Blue
Spyderco Gayle Bradley
Large (~3.75-4") ZT in ELMAX (my first ZT)
Spyderco Chokwe
ESEE Izula 2 (along with a pink Izula 1 for my wife at the same time)
Benchmade 162 bushcraft or ESEE 4
May also replace my first good knife I ever bought and then proceeded to lose responding to a loose animal call at the zoo I worked at- a Stretch (but this time I'll go for the ZDP blade)

That's 11 if I get the Stretch, looks like I need to decide on one more.

Survive 10.1 chopper in 3v. While I am waiting, I saw that Bark River finally released the Bravo 3, so I picked one up from the first production run.

Kershaw Strobe, teal Leek, Thistle, Starter, several of their Emerson collabs...maybe the Secret Agent and a blackwash Cryo.
Condor Moonstalker, Solobolo, Daikaiju, Crotalus, Soldier's Axe, wood handled El Salvador, possibly the Bombus
Cold Steel Eland and Thai Machete....maybe the Frontier Bowie if it drops below $100
Ka-bar Parangatang, TDI Hinderer
CRKT Chanceinhell and Halfachance machetes, maybe that karambit Minimalist and the Synergist

And whatever Aranyik puts out this year...I know they got a 2h E-nep in the works, I'll get that for sure.
