What are you planning to do during the BFC outage?

I thought I would start early. Usually we talk about this after the outage is over, but hell I am glad we will be prepared. I plan on doing the following things:

Work during most of it (hopefully so I don't notice)
Pick both of my nostrils clean
Check out some spanktravision :p
Clean my knives
Clean my toenails
Drink a load of beer

So what will you be doing? :p :)

(I didn't realize BFC was down until 10am!)
 
Well, I'll save a lot of time not going to other forums to find out why we're down :D
 
I've already called my doctor. He's phoned a prescription to the pharmacist. I'll pick it up this evening.
 
I was in BF around 3 or 4 AM went off,did some pre-dawn things and threw some knives.Came in and went online,WHAT THE HECK.NO BladeForums.I guess I'm still kind of a nfg.First time I couldn't find my way home.How often does this happen and did it have anything to do with line of storms that just moved across the midwest to the east coast?
 
I dunno what I'm going to do while BF is down tomorrow, but I DO know that if BF is down for my birthday on Friday, I'll be PISSED!.:D.:eek:.

Not very often. This place runs on high-reliability servers (real, purpose-built servers). Spark is quite good at keeping it going.

However, like most machines, it does go down every once in a while, maybe once or twice a year, usually for not more than a few hours.

No. The database is getting to large and becoming unstable. This happens about every 15-18 months and Spark has to take it offline and reorganize a bit.
 
BF down? Say it ain't so.

Well, that will be the end of the world as I know it. I'll just reread all the Y2K
books I picked up for .50 cents and hope for the best.
 
Go to the Mojave Desert and pound rocks.

Then go to Huntington Beach, go out to the water line, and pound sand.

Then go to the LA Zoo, dodge the Peta people, and slap a monkey silly.
 
Lucky for me, I'm headed off to Kansas City, MO for a big gun/knife show. I won't even have computer access, so I might not even miss it. :)

See y'all in about 7 days. :D

Make it 10 days, I forgot, on the way home two of my last unmarried friends are getting married on the beach on Sandy Hook so I 'm goin' to a shorts and Tie-Dye weddin'. :D :cool:
 
It'd figure that the maintainance is on my day off, when I'm prone to surf bladeforums like I have nothing better to do (because I have in fact nothing better to do).

Good thing I picked up a few movies yesterday, so at least I'll have those to watch.
