Vikings is an incredible show, I do miss old school Ragnar, though. His journey was an entertaining one to say the least.
Black Mirror just came out with some new episodes on Netflix, one of my favorites. Like an updated Twilight Zone. All of Netflix's Marvel shows are great(Daredevils the best/Iron Fist was the worst). Just finished up the newest season of Peaky Blinders too. Netflix has some incredible originals.
A few others to watch would be Sherlock, the new Doctor Who's, and Orphan Black. All great BBC shows.

I tend to watch both the Discovery and History channels a lot. Seldom watch CBS, NBC or ABC programming unless it's college football or basketball. The new Star Trek show interests me but I could never find it. Considering a Hula option these days (streaming TV) versus regular cable.
Godless was a great mini series. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started it.
I didn't like Ivar in Vikings for the longest time, but he's growing on me now. His constant threats to crucify the bishop may be the reason for that.. Haha. Definitely a character that's for sure.
