What are your favorite knives released within the past year?

2012 has been an awesome year for knives and we've seen tons of new designs and innovations from various manufacturers.

What are your favorite knives that have been released in the past year or so?

For me the Benchmade 810 Contego and ZT 0560/1 are my favorite new designs. They both have big blades, great action and are made form exceptional materials. I think KVT is the best thing to happen to folders in years. They've kicked all other EDCs out of my rotation.

Fixed blade wise the Scrap yard Scrap Max models are by far my favorite.

I would have to say ZT 560 and 810 contego also. I have bought both this year and there great knives.

The two in the middle are my favorites. I carry both every day lately. The 810 Contego and the 730-1203 Ares are awesome knives with awesome blade steels(cpm m4 and m390 respectively).
