I thought I would do a simple thread like this to perhaps give an idea as to which Busse's are getting "used" the most .... good info for Jerry and also helps when "asking" for another run of a given knife .... as the models being used will eventually maybe need a replacement .... I guess it is down to how hard you are on the edges .....
So which ones do you find you gravitate to ?
I have to say after weeks ( probably months and even "years" now with some models ) of doing a fair old bit of chopping and preparing wood .... the "kit" I most regularly have in a rucksack for going out to do some work when not deliberately taking other knives for a "comparison" .... is my NMFBM, my Basic 11 and my BWM LE .... probably in that order ....
You have to hand it to Jerry with the NMFBM .... it is a hell of a great outdoor knife .... I think if I had to only pick one Busse this would be it .... it just does everything on a camp knife/chopper role that little bit easier/better than all the other models.... a classic knife ....
There are a few great ones on the table here but the NMFBM would be my first choice ....
