What are your hopes?

A couple of big shows coming up in the next months (Knob Creek and Blade) along with those there are usually Ganza's that pop up. So, being realistic, what do you hope to find at one of these shows or Ganza's?

(I don't want to hear your dream design that isn't realistic, just looking for something that actually may appear at a show or Ganza)

I'd love to find a Busse Ruck, but I'd be really happy with a sleek fighter with a 9-10" blade (satin or double cut, natural or unique handle material)

So what are you looking for, or what is your proxy going to be looking for ? ;)

How does a Ganza work and how do ya get in on one. If a person was to make a one day trip to Knob creek mainly for a shot at some Busse or SR knives what would be the best day and do you have to be right there when the show opens. I guess I am to assume there is a table at the gun show barn?

Swamp Wardens, SAR's, maybe a hatchet.

If the new altered Zilla's were "out" at the shows then definately one of them .... that and an Orange Res C S5 SE like the one we saw in the Xmas Give Away Ganza ....

The nice variants/fighters you like .... you need to really see them before you know you want it ... but sometimes there are some really special blades produced ....

I saved this pic you onced showed as the top knife is quite unusual and would appeal to me but ideally in a single colour set of grips .... all black would be cool ... :cool: Usually though these seem to fall into your "lap" .... :D

Yeah, both of those are real beauties. It's funny, people think I get there early and fight off the HOG's on these, or think I have some special "in" that others aren't aware of. Almost entirely all of the knives I've picked up at Knob Creek were bought Saturday late afternoon, after the knives set on the tables all day Friday and most of Saturday. Once in a while I'll grab one when I get there Sat AM but you'd be surprised how many great pieces are still there late Saturday. IIRC both of these were picked up at Knob Creek on Saturday so they set out at least 12 hours (and probably longer) before I decided to bring them home.

In my opinion it is one of the best shows for finding great hard to find pieces.

I'd like to see some more NMFBM SE models, i.e. satin and black paper. :thumbup::thumbup:
 
I am hoping Eric will sell me last years Black and Bone beauty he picked up or at least fondle it :D:D:thumbup: and Rucks!! Maybe another Waki:D
