My air guard squadron just got a confirmed date at Urban Warfare school at Camp Gruber in June and my civilian PD is sending me to a week long tactical shotgun class in August. I also have an overseas deployment planned. It is shaping up to be a busy but fun summer. What's everyone else up to?

Im just going to TRAiN long and hard, to get ready for the Marines. So not as much fun for me yet. Your summer sounds great.

Matt (Hi, Mick and Duane).

Wow ! I can't say that I'm doing anything like that, but I'll most likely hang out at the "Blarney Rock" bar everyday, when I'm not doing that I'll probably at "Flannery's" and on my off day's I'll probably be at "O'Farrells", well someone's gotta do it !

Yes, there are alot of Irish bars in NYC.

I will be at SOE trying to destroy John's new designs. We will probably try to break our trucks every few days. Duane and I will probably get bent somewhere off of Point Loma, but the pelican case of Jim Beam will save us. Then he will try his best to get run over by Navy ships in the channel.

It should be a fun summer.

Lewis,
Air Guard ... Tactical shotgun course ... Aim High!

Matt,
Get some!

Nowhere fast,
Now here is a man with a plan!

Mr. Joshua,
CasES, ... thats plural!!! And yes, we must plan another day of "dodge the 800 foot Warship" soon!

Also, there's the Blade show in Atlanta in June and TREXPO in Virginia in August! Other than that we will just be sitting around a beach campfire drinking root beer and discussing the merits and fondness we all feel towards the IRS.

hi guyz, i'm new to this forum , so my 2cents for the summer is to TRAIN HARD!
good coverage of the strider team in COMBAT KNIVES ( japanese mag)..

matt ..hope to see ya in the fleet..

CEYA .. CEYA KNIFE DESIGNS..OOH-RAH!!!

No problem, Duane. If you get run over by one of those 800 foot Navy monsters, just pretend like your Chinese and claim that the huge warship "suddenly veered" in front of your boat.

Whuh?! You're going to be in Virginia in August?! WHERE!?!! What is the TREXPO? It's not something that if I have to ask, I might as well NOT ask, is it??

Rockspyder,
Yes, we are Virginia bound in August. TREXPO is a very high end show for the Law Enforcement and Military community to attend and see the latest in the equiptment applicable to this field. It requires a military or law enforcement credential to get in but if you do not have either of these, maybe they will let you in if you attend with someone who does. We will post the address and contact information soon, the city it is held in is Chantilly Virginia. All the best,
Duane Dwyer

Trexpo is the most BA show.
Im not sure about the east show, but I went to the west this year. The range day was the best day of my life. I got to shot almost ever full auto that HK makes. Supressed too. The show it self was very nice, I hope to attend the next one.

My summer includes playing with my new "Rescue" variant DB that our squadron decided to purchase for the enlisted aircrew! I suppose some beer might be involved as well as the Blade show in Atlanta. Followed by more beer. Did I say beer?

Thanks for the info, Duane. Looks like I'll have to wait until Timonium (if you guys come back for that).
