Like the title says, what do you have on your plate next? New sheath for a Becker, new kit you wanna attach? Something crazy awesome that has never been done but will revolutionize the knife industry?

I myself redid my box for my BK2 without the holes for the permanent attachment, and ordered it last week. It should give me a lot more usable space inside the thing so I can fit more goodies in it. Also waiting on the Brutus to start coming along. Chris has some nasty weather, so I am imploring the snow gods to leave that man be for a bit so he can get some forge time in with my Brutus.

So what is next for you?

(Note to mods: Please don't move my thread. I am directing it at the people in the Becker subforum, not everyone at large.)

Got a 9,7, and 11 inbound from South America. I also have a nice piece of snakewood I dug out of the scrap bin at Woodcraft that needs a home. Handles for one of them will be the next project followed by sheaths maybe. I'd like to come up with a leather/kydex/cordura design for the nine or seven.

looking to make some scales, maybe buy some scales, waiting for tweeners.

I need to strip my new Bk9 and Bk11 to match my Bk2, also thinking on adding jimping to the Bk11 and making a leather belt loop for it.

Jimping with a checkering file on my BK2. Rounding off a bunch of stainless screws so they're not sharp anywhere...

Micarta handles should be in this week. Some SS screws and a Kydex sheath after that.

I guess I'm gonna be shooting some vids of me making a wilderness camp and some knife skills. Not sure how I feel about that, but with you guys asking and Ethan telling me, well, I gotta go get a better DigiCorder. Dammit.

iFlip HD my parents have one and it is super easy and has great picture

they are also very inexpensive

JVC makes a good one with 30GB internal flash memory -- good camera, also does still photos, and can be found under $200.

I'm waiting on a custom kydex sheath for my BK2.

I'd also like to make a slightly larger BK-2weener or Crewman with a proper heat-treat. :-D

My 7 is out getting new kydex, and when it comes back I want to give it the strip treatment. I have micarta waiting for it, and I'm debating over which color I want to dye it.

I need to get a BK5 in the stable and strip it. Am also thinking on making some grip scales, looking for suitable materials. I also like the look of scale with liners, and may do that too. At this moment I am going to thow my 14 into my brass cleaner.

Moose, should I wait to buy the 5?

I've stripped my bk9 and am in the process of shining her up(1st time ever polishing anything lol)

Thanks, I'll look into that.

I agree on the flip. I got mine for $100 at Costco and so far, other than me unwittingly deleting a scene I wanted to use, it's been a great camera.

I'm thinking about making a leather sheath to hold a couple BK knives on the back of my belt to be able to pull one from either side since I just got a BK11 in on a trade. So the 11 and 14 will be all cosy in a new leather sheath together. :D I'd post a drawing of my idea but I'm not as talented as you DerekH  But I'm thinking like a sandwich type thing. We'll see what happens though.

Two in the Hopper:

1) Father and Daughter time in the backyard with wood that is dying to become carbon emissions... Me with my BK2 and she with my BK-11

2) "Pimp my Blade"..... I have been looking for a pouch for my BK2 sheath (original). I will try the Maxpedition Barnacle and Anemone pouches in Black to see which might be a workable solution.

I have every intention of turning a BK-2 into a clip point. I have always liked them and will like the 2 even more once it's been modded. I find it a little odd that the 2 did'nt get clipped like the 7 and 9. BTW, the clip is'nt quite long enough on the 9, maybe another inch or so.
