Because of some unforeseen health issues with my 87 year old grandma most of the family is coming to town in the next few weeks (she's not dead or dying, but its unlikely she'll remember the out of town folks much longer). I have one cousin, AJ, he and I were ways pretty close even tho he lives in Seattle and we arnt actually very similar. He's never been a folder person and in fact rarely carries a knife at all but he entertains me by asking my about my knives and stuff. Anyway I want to give him a nice knife while he's here and I'm thinking a BK2 but I'm wondering if it'll be enough for him, he's huge, around 6'6" and about 270# and he's got huge paws. I've never even handled a Becker and really just recently became interested in them (in no small part due to Spydercobenchmadekai's praise of everything BKT). I know the blade won't be to long for him, what I'm worried about is if the handle will be large enough. Anyone with huge hands carry a BK2? If the BK2 won't be large enough what one should I look at without gettin too huge of a knife, he's in a MC (non-outlaw) so while I know he won't mind carrying a larger knife I don't really want to give him an absolutely huge chopper just because I'm intending this for EDC and a 6'6 dude with cut on and completely covered in tattoos probably doesn't need the extra attention a 10" all black knife would bring in a city like Seattle.

Also while were on the topic can you suggest a good (and not very expensive) leather sheath for whatever knife you recommend, the kind that hangs below the belt.

The 2 would be perfect. I'm sure the 2 would be. Talk to Psyop about getting a sheath made too. He does some of the best (on a discount) leather work I've seen.

For EDC the 2 is a big un. Full size Becker handles are great though, even for guys with large hands. I would suggest a BK-24 though for EDC he will have to three finger it from the sounds of him, but its a really great knife, easy to carry and conceal, and legal in a lot more areas than say the 2 would be for an EDC.

The 2 is great. However, for EDC a tweener seems like a better fit. Still, if he wants large handles, the 2's you knife.

But you really need a 9...

He might enjoy a 17 with a Kydex Leather hybrid from 710. Or a 10, stripped with a sheath from NixCustoms.

does anyone here with XXL hands have a pic of both a 2 and a 16 in hand?

Yea and about 50+ others on my current list, atleast if/when I do get my first becker I can blame it on you man. That'll be an interesting convo with my wife- "why did you need another knife?" "Well honey because this kid on the internet said so". Lol.
