what belt for carrying a large 29 oz kukri?

For those of you who belt carry your large heavy kuks, what belts are you using? pics please, trying to figure out how thick i need to go.

Old Mil surplus pistol belts, bdu belts, rigger belts?

Hubby and I use some belts I bought from a guy on SeattleGunsNet they are based on the Jones EDC belts but made of leather and really well made.

I generally remove the frog and carry it tucked crossdraw through whichever belt I have on. My gelbu 18" is 29 oz, tucked you don't feel the weight. Suspended from the belt it's in the way.
