What belt & holster HK USP40

Any recommendations for a belt/holster combo to match my USP40? I'm about 5 years out of touch with the gun world and don't know what the latest goodies are.

I think what I have now is a Bianchi(sp?) belt and Galco holster. The belt is too small for my waist. It's also very stiff and not comfortable in the least bit. The holster is leather and I'm looking for something a little more "tactical" in style.

Any thoughts? Or can you point me in the direction of any hand gun forums.

Regards from Arizona,
Lars

btw, I love this G&G sub-forum here. Just found it last night and spent numerous hours browsing the last 31 pages. Luckily I have 200 more to go. :)

I use a Kramer horsehide 1.5" gunbelt and a Kramer horsehide vertical scabbard, with my USP 45C. I don't carry IWB, but that's a popular mode also, although the USP is not a thin pistol.

I'd recommend Kramer or Milt Sparks first for concealment leather, of the brands readily available in gunstores Galco or Safariland are the only ones I'd recommend.

The best "tactical" setup is probably something like a Wilderness Instructor Belt with a kydex holster from Blade Tech, either a belt rig or IWB. I prefer Blade Tech holsters for open carry and match use, but I find leather more comfortable concealed.

Finally, everybody that carries a gun regularly has a pile of old holsters and belts - sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right, even with quality gear. Everybody has different preferences and requirements.

That is exactly what I wear every day.

That's my competition rig, I just prefer the horsehide for CCW. Kydex, at least for me, tends to print more than leather.

That said, if you need the gun in a hurry, you'll generally draw faster from kydex than from leather, and reholstering is a bit easier.

Blade Tech holsters rock, no question.

For something inexpensive I use a Fobus with my .40 USP right now. @ $20 and I have never had a problem with it. I would like to move to leather, but for right now it gets the job done.
