What knife is the best for my price point above.

These are the brands I like:
spyderco
benchmade
ZT

And this it what I am looking for:

three to four inch blade
under four ounces
made in the USA

ZTs are all going to be a bit heavier than 4oz - but if you can get over the weight than I would recommend the ZT0200.

Benchmade 707.
Can still be had for less than $120, if you know where to look.

Spyderco Manix 2 / Paramilitary 2

I'd also say Spyderco Sage 1 but its breaks your US-made requirement because its made in Taiwan.

Had 2 Pm's...sold them both. Not bad knives at all, but fell in love with my zt 0566. It's smoother for sure, maybe a little heavier but sits in pocket very well due to its slim profile. It may have a SS framlock, but I can't really tell. That's all I have to say about that.

For your conditions I would say a manix 2. If you can get past the usa made the delica and endura are fantastic blades.

Buck Vantage Pro, can be cheaper or more expensive than $80 depending on what type of scales you want. The vantage force pros, have the more expensive handles.

Maybe this seems obvious to most everyone else but it doesn't seem like anyone has suggested it... IMO BM Griptilian seems like it falls exactly in your price range, and has a few blade shapes and many handle colors, and if you wanna jump up about 20 bucks you can even custom make one on their website. I personally have a 551 and its been in my pocket more often than not.

Endura ZDP-189. Perfectly fits what you are looking for.
