What blades did you use today?

I rarely venture out of a handful of posting areas, and this one is among my favorites. I thought this might be a fun place to share and a fun way to learn more about each others blade personalities (both inside and outside of CRK offerings).

I find myself using more than a few blades daily for work and for just typical life. Post a photo of what you used today and see what it tells others. Please don't just post collection photos, just post the blades you used on the day you post. Be honest and have fun.

I always have a CRK folder no matter what, that damascus hunter is a knife that sees much use and is realy my standard use fixed blade. The hawk and long knife have been used a fair bit over that last few weeks and are a nice combo for a number of things. :D:thumbup:

@Haze: What did you use the hawk and the long knife for? Trying to separate Scotland from the UK?

Something like that :D.... I have been teaching a bit of MA as well as bushcraft with larger blades rather than the classic smaller woodlore knives we all know and love. :)

Up until Tuesday I had been carrying my large 21 exclusively for over a month plus a back up that varied, which is the longest I've carried the same knife straight. However, my bm 908 got back yesterday, so I've been carrying it since. I got bm to fix the horrible play and exchange the black tanto(which I hated) for the satin drop point, and I'm loving it. I will admit though that whenever I leave the 21 at home I feel like something is missing, so once the new wears off, the 21 will be riding with me once again.

Todays backup is my case stockman that I just got. The backup varies between a leatherman at work and a sak or the case anyother time.

Unit, it is nice to see another straight razor user:thumbup:
I almost always have a slipjoint on me, today it was my carbon fiber Lloyd joining my sebenza. The razor is a Dovo with zebra wood scales.
I did not include my kitchen knives, but they will be used soon because I am about to go cook the wife and I some dinner!

Making fajitas at the moment, so my blades are sharing the board with some flavor. These kitchen knives get a lot of use (that is why I have multiples).

Just because this one deserves a better image. It is a real pleasure to use.

Unit, those are impressive razors! I have my eye on a Harner like in your first post, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Nice pics too.......

If you like extreme levels of sharpness, the XHP is nice. He makes a nice blade:thumbup:

Some kitchen duties for one of my favorite cleavers. It's not as useable as my much prefered super thin cleavers but makes short work of most things. It's a Mr. Wu cleaver from Kin-men island. :)

Yesterday was a light day. We went to a BBQ and I didn't prep any food or do any brush clearing.
