What brand of beer for you on St. Patrick's Day?

Oops, forgot this was a knife lovers forum... I meant it would be Guiness opened with my Endura wave!

PBR!

(Hey I gotta save my money somehow if I'm ever going to afford a Busse ;) )

Seriously though, I like PBR becuase I don't have a werid allergic reaction to it as compared to some other beers.

Guiness and/or Harp (not in a black and tan, tho!). Maybe some Smithwicks, and a Wexford if I can find it... It's going to be a long and glorious evening!!!

Brett

I just moved back to PA after a 17 year absence, so it's the bee's knees for me.

I'll be behind the bar tonight... getting the likes of you lot all beered up. :P
Probably have a couple of Guinness or Strongbow as my shift drink(s) after the madness is over...
I also have a large bottle of Three Philosophers http://www.ommegang.com/index.php?mcat=1&scat=4&yr=1
in the fridge if I'm still up for another.
Slainte Mhaith!

Guinness (Extra), opened with my Victorinox Bantam.....

had a taste for Murphy's/Beamish for a while, but went back to my old standard.

I started with Murphy's Stout, then moved to Young's Double Chocolate Stout, then Apple Cider, then Harp.

*burp*

Was a nice night.

^ Wow I'm a fan of all of those.
But the only correct answers, naturally, are stout ales.

Anybody ever had Beamish? It's like Guinness...squared. Comes in the pint cans with the nitrogen widget, and when you pour it in a glass it looks like you filled your glass with coffee and have chocolate milk falling down the sides. Very cool, and very good.

I'd heard that Murphy's was supposed to be better than Guinness and almost as good as Beamish, and got a couple to try, but it never did it for me for some reason.

After this weekend/last night I don't want to have ANYTHING to do with a bar- on either side. I feel like one of Santa's elves on Dec 26th.
