What Brand Thread?

Used the search engine, didn’t see much listed other than ads.
Looking at the difference in prices for the same size/type, I’m guessing not all are created equal?
So, what brand do you use for 6-8 oz. leather sheaths?

I use Ritza tiger thread 0.8 mm for hand stitching.

Sorry, that certainly would matter, wouldn’t it!
I had always hand stitched but need to start learning to use a machine.

Well, the machine thread we use is from the threadexchange.com We use size 207 top and bottom on the big Cobra 4 and 138 top and bottom on the smaller Cobra 18. I also like Weavers thread in 207.
