Ok, I was wondering if a drill press from harbor freight would be worth my time or if I should save up and get a craftsmen? I have up to 80 to spend, so I could get a craftsmen if on sale, but if one from harbor freight will work I'd rather not spend the extra cash. Tell me what yall think. :)

i just picked up a nice keyless bench type drill press from harbor freight at one of there stores for 39.95, I looked at the craftsman drillpresses and for almost the same identical drill press it was $99 with just a a regular keyed chuck. For about the past week every place I went to I looked at drillpresses and they are all made in china (Including Craftsman). I don't see any difference but the price. I looked really hard at the benchtop craftsman today and it looks it came from the same factory. only difference is the sticker. I also got a year replacement warranty for 5.00 so for $45.00. I think it was a good deal. It runs real smooth also.

I just picked up a new HF drill press over the Holidays. It was a floor model and I paid $159.00 +-. After the usual HF something was wrong procedure, it is running perfectly and I am tickled pink with it.
