What Buck sheath is this ?

I was going to post this on the sheath forum, but I thought that the Buck knife collectors would most likely know the answers to my questions, so I hope it is okay to ask here.

1. Does anyone know which model this Buck sheath is for? I got it a long time ago on an auction site, and I think it was advertised as being for a 500, but it fits my 112 better.

2. Does anyone know if this style was made in black or brown, in addition to the burgundy shown?

3. Does anyone know if this style is available anywhere? I like it, and would like to find another one or two for my 112 Rangers.

Any info greatly appreciated.

JT, I think it is the sheath for 532, may be for 531 and 532. Have a look under the belt loop. there is possibly an imprinting with the numbers.

As I remeber this style of sheath (foldover sheath) was made for the 110 and 112 too - red and black. But what do I know.

You find these sheath from time to time at the big auctioneer.

Just an additional point, the triangular 'Edge for Life' mountain logo was used on sheaths from approximately 1997 to 2001.

Thanks folks. I like the style. Does not seem to be easy to come by. The leather is tearing on mine, where the top of the belt loop attaches. May be able to get it re-sewn and get some more life out of it.
