I gave my friend and fellow knife collector a Founders Edition Buck 110. It is the first 110 in his collection although he said he used to carry one when he was in his teen's. That was when you could carry one to school and nobody cared. Early to mid 70's.
I gave my non knife nut brother inlaw a Red Bone Buck Canoe. He seemed to really like it. He mentioned he used to have a Case but lost it some time ago.
So let me know what you are giving this year. I just love Christmas.

I'm giving my 8-month old son a Custom Shop 110 in S30V, NS Bolsters, Finger Grooves, Flamewood KOA, with his first and middle names engraved on the bolsters and with a brown leather sheath.

but yes need more bucks for more gifts..
so waiting on the ups man to bring me the buck joy box!

I assume you mean Christmas gifts to someone(s) else. Just one Vantage-Pro.

To myself, that's a whole different story. Selfish? Blame the holiday 40 discount! And yes, I wanted to be sure I got those 125 anniversary Victorinox SAK's during the anniversary year, '09 (I got 125 anniversary editions of the climber and the Cybertool Pocket Knife 34. That Anniversary Heritage Knife, the replica, is interesting but too expensive for my blood right now.)

Hi STDK -

I gave away two Buck Sirus knives to friends.

I also got an additional Buck Sirus and a 110 - I will keep the 110 for myself and have the other Sirus to either keep or gift to someone later in the year.

I gave a JK Keychain Companion to another friend, and several SAK's of different models to other people on my list. I also gave away a Boker folder, and a custom damascus fixed blade.

You just can't go wrong giving a knife in my opinion.

best regards-

mqqn

My Nephew is getting a Vantage from me. It's pretty much a tradition that he wants a Buck from me every year, so he's always my favorite to shop for! :D

A good friend of mine for the past 20 years has started to show some interest in my knives. Yesterday we were drinking a few beers and I asked him if he still wanted a good knife, he said yes, and I gave him one of my 110s.

Felt good to pass on a great knife to someone who needed a good knife.

Great stories guys, it seems there are going to be alot of happy guys on Christmas. Especially if the UPS guys get on the ball. Merry Christmas to all.

That is funny! I guess it didn't fit you either.:D
nope ,, wish it had
i knew it would not when i got it ijn atlanta- i am 2xl it is xl
he is a one way old bird and wont buy good thigns to ware unless it is

Let's see, a Smidgen, Packlite, Signature 30x, Bucklite, and one other that I can't remember right now.

Already gave my Brother a 119 as an early gift.

A 112 Founders edition to my brother, and a regular 112 to my brother-in-law. ( My brother also gets a regular 110.)

On the first day of Christmas I'll happily give away
Four Founder's Editions,
One Buckscript
and a nice vintage one-twenty-one.

:D

I picked up 2 Buck Vantage Select knives recently, I think I'll pass one on to my 64 year old Dad for Christmas, I think he'll like the size and light weight of it...I sure do.

It will go well with the Red Oak walking stick I made him...I think he'll really love that.

I also picked up a pink SAK for the wife's sock.

I wanted to gift my Father a 110,but the guy who sold them here has runed of ouf stock and is not planning to get more :(
