I fixed up this little starter set for the grandson. A 525 Gent Pteranodon and Tyranosaurus. He's a little too young to handle them yet so I'll screw it shut for now. Hopefully he'll want to hang out in his preteens before girls & pop culture get ahold of him....

Nice idea and great gift, DeSotoSky! I'm sure the young fella will appreciate them when he's older!

As for me, well, I don't know too many knife enthusiasts apart from BF so I'm gifting these in a holiday giveaway instead...

I gave a pair of 373's to my nephews and this Shedua re-scale 110 to a freind who hunts....

No pictures. The knives have been sent already. I gave each of my two grandsons a 110 with the blade stamp for the year they were born. Not an original idea, but it will be new for them.

That's a neat idea...

I gave a 1998 (her birth year) 301 and a new in box 2 dot 110 to Kaylee Fritz and a Buck custom sheath to her Dad. The 301 was for her birthday and the other for Christmas. I gave my son a Life Membership in the BCCI. He's not a Buck collector right now, but someday he will be whether he wants to be or not. ;)

the only time i ever gave a buck away, was to my grandpa sent him a buck dymondwood stockman and he loves it.

wasn't for christmas just something nice i wanted to do for him, since he's always done everything he possibly could for me.

i ordered it up and had it sent to him. and he loved it.

I'm giving my niece a 2011 Odyssey, its a nice looking blade and I'm sure she will love it.

I'm under strict orders for our son (currently eight) not to "get into the knife thing" so I've got some work to do there. I think he would love a small pocket knife of some sort, and being an eight year old boy he'd love those dino themed 525s. Very tempted to give the lady of the house a 112 or similar but that may have to wait another twelve months.

Gave myself an Oydessey. Ordered a little too late and arriving on the 28th. Probably not a more popular one but I gave away the first one and regret it.

Bought my wife a couple of cutlery pieces, a slicer and a spreader. I thought it would be the sort of gift that gets used and appreciated every day. I'm sure she will like them (of course, I'll know I'll also be using them).

And if this gift goes over well, I'm set with for future gift occasions by adding additional pieces.

How about the TravelMate Set from the Buck web specials page.
I'm giving my mate a TravelMate
but I ordered a little too late...... (gee I'm a poet)
Hopefully it'll be here later in the week.

I gave my Wife a Cocobola handled 102 Woodsman for Christmas, she loved it.We do alot of fishing, and it's a perfect blade for that! She wanted one every since I got my Cherry handled 102.:)

I gave a Buck 55 to an old friend
(or a friend who is old. Either way is true. He's older than I and I have known him for years.)

Oz, I gave my youngest a knife when she was 8 contrary to Mom's desires. She was very careful with it and is still enjoying knives. The oldest was mad at me for sure as she didn't get her first knife until she was 10. Its tough being out numbered in my house. I gave away 2 Tin gift sets. Dang, so many of you guys have Grandsons... Makes me feel young. DM

Nephews got Bill Dance 382 for the fisherman and a LE521 for the golfer with golf design. Daughter got LE purple 503.

Wife gave me a 2003 503, a Chairman 309 and Kaylee gave me a '87 110 Wolverine boots promo knife.

Gave a gray 444 to my wifes, cousins son who is an aspiring knife enthusiast and a boy scout.

Merry Christmas

Pics to follow in a couple days.
