Buck 110 if I'm going camping. Buck 55 when I'm not. I usually take some random multitool with me, too.

I took my 373 china stockman last time I flew figgering if it got pilfered, it wouldnt cost much to replace. Funny thing is that I broke my zipper on the suitcase at the baggage check counter and they taped it up with the AA tape. During the trip
it loosened and when I picked it up off the claim conveyer the gap in the zipper was face down and the knife was about one good thump from falling out.

When we go to church camp for a weeks "vacation", I take a Bucklite 442 and Bantam 286.

Haven't flown in years for for car trips I carry my Large Vantage Pro and a 701 Bronco.

We mostly drive and can take anything but its mostly the same models. Truck stops are a known riff-raff magnet so, she takes her 426 and I take my paperstone 110 drop point. The girls traveled on a train to visit Grandmother and one took the 110 w/ ATS-34 blade the youngest a Alpha Hunter of course. DM

I have a Selector in the 110 format to which I added a pocket clip and a BG-42 blade modified to fit the Selector handle. When I fly, I put the blade in one suitcase and the handle in another. If I am not flying, I take an assortment of modified 110's, 186's, 560's, etc.

I don't know about you guys but the times when I'm in transit and without my knife I feel naked. I take the same knives I EDC any other time, my Vantage Avid with charcoal diamondwood and an early camillus made 303...

I keep a small Leatherman Micra multi-tool in my laptop bag/pack. I chopped it's worthless little knife blade off it it since I always have a proper EDC knife in my pocket anyway. I keep the tiny multi-tool in the pack primarily for the scissors, file and bottle opener but I don't need them in my pocket - just nearby.

When I travel by plane (common for work), one of my EDC knives goes in my toiletries bag in my checked baggage, along with my GPS unit. At the same time, I move my Micra from my pack to my pocket. I put the Micra through security in it's own tray in the fully opened position with tools spread out. I then alert the TSA agents that I'm sending my "scissors" through and they can verify that it has no knife blade on it. One a few occasions, I've had a newbie agent say it's not allowed. So, I tell them that I know they're being diligent but then politely ask if they could confirm that with their supervisor. That's gotten the multitool through security every time and then I fly with at least *something* in my pocket.

When I pick up the rental car, the multitool goes back in the pack and get my GPS and EDC knife out of my luggage.

The Buck in my EDC rotation is a bright shiny Buck 500.

I bring a 110 wherever I go, and usually a 119 in my checked back for longer trips (I like to have a good fixed blade around, just in case).

When car traveling, which is what we usually do,I always take my 119.It gets nightstand duty at the motels/hotels that we stay in.

Thats quite a knife to EDC. I tried to like it but it was just too heavy and uncomfortable to have on my belt.

i dont use the sheath. for years ive carried either a 110 or a 112 in my back right pocket so its not much different
