So once im cleared to go back to work I'll be needing some new gear for my assignments....i got a tglb which is the best jack of all trades blade I've ever had but I need a big chopper like a Moab or nmfbm or fat battlemisstress..dont know all the abriviations for all the busse's yet so sorry if I get 1 wrong.....but I also need not want need a dagger or something that can be concealed but can puncture and slash and is fast in hand but I know that slashing really isn't a daggers main purpose so I'm open to suggestions ...........so I was just informed that daggers or dagger like knives won't clear customs.....so I'm at a total loss.....but since the chopper is for something not related the requirements are still the same big and awesome...................so found out today I cannot return to work for awhile so only a chopper is on the list and that's just cuz I've seen the Moab and the nmfbm and must have them..couldnt swing one right now but I still want them....just happy I don't gotta by a dagger not really my thing...but I do want a HDD now and don't know why......thanks for all the help guys I appreciate all the responses

Sounds like you need a NMFBM and a Scrapyard HDD to go with the TGLB. I have all of those plus a newly acquired DSSF. I love and use all of them.

The dagger is for a different job than I need the chopper for just to be clear....ive looked at the HDD is cool and I want 1 but I'm looking for something more substantial......ill be working in a location where I cannot have my sidearm or rifle....but I can have a knife.....id like the blade to be no more than 5-6inches....it would be for defense only ....a war boar would be cool but can't find 1 and would imagine their expensive.....oh and I want something that would make the guys I work with jealous.......thanks
 
If you have both a bit of time and some cash, the Custom Shop might be an option for your dagger want.

As for choppers, Killa Zilla certainly will impress your buddies, and quite likely...you.
 
Now there is an idea the custom shop....ill be giving them a call....im not sold on a dagger ....i need something with good penetration but it would be even better if it could slash and penetrate....and I've never seen a dagger that can do both ....id love to just take my tglb...but it doesn't conceal well in a suit and tie .....lol
 
In the blade length you're looking for your best bet is scoring an ASH or Hellrazor. I've been trying to find those for myself.
 
Pork shank and soon to be released straight handle battle mistress. Wait for the combat grade SHBM though. It will be cheaper (plus less competition for the 1 of 300s)
 
IMHO if you already have a TGLB, you only need 2 other Kin to fill MOST of your knifey needs... You need a smaller skinner/utility knife in the 3-4" range, and a chopper in the 8-10" range



Personally, i'd recommend a Muk or AD for the smaller blade, and a 1311 or MOAB (if you have that kind of cash) for your big chopper.

I have a MUK, TGLB, and 1311, and there's almost nothing that I can't do with one of the three
 
I think a BWM and a AMS would fill your needs and probably cause you to leave the TGLB at home. I cant imagine anything I would need to do that those two couldn't. And in a very packable package no less.
 
You first NEED to get one of each...once you have done that you NEED to get one of each in the various colours they were offered... then you need to start harassing the Custom Shop ........ ;)

Swamp Rat Hairy Carry might just make it through as it's not sharpened on two sides, but could easily be sharpened if 'needed'.

As far as big choppers go, I think a Basic 10 LE is easily the best value available...... :)

If you wanted a tomahawk, the Swamp Rat hawks are flat out awesome too!
