Well, it's in the topic. I, unfortunately, have none so far. Although I hope that's going to change this month.

I have seen some pictures of them and some good looking pieces would be the Marine Combat and the Pilot Survival knives. So, you wanna show your toys to the other kids of the playground?

Two important questions in life:
Do they have a catalog?
Did you know there's a town called "Batman" in Turkey?

Jani,

Answer to question 1:
Yes, we have a catalog! If you email me your address I will be glad to send you one.

Answer to question 2:
No, I didn't know that. But after seeing "Midnight Express" I have no plans on visiting Turkey!

Phill, have you checked your e-mail? I sent you one concerning the catalogs before posting this thread.

But if you didn't receive it, I can post it again. In fact, I think I'm going to do that any way.

I'd go to Turkey to have some doner kebab

Unfortunately, none.

In my dreams? A CUDA, of course. (hint, hint...)

Phil -- you've got mail!

I've owned many Camillus knives over the last 30 years. I have an early 1960's vintage Pilot Survival Knife (5 inch but blade marked), have bought 4 more for my sons and others, have purchased two utility/combat knives which I've modified somewhat. I like to flatten the sides of the handle somewhat, creating an oval handle rather than round. I straighten the sharpened swedge (eliminate the curve) so it is easier to sharpen, drill a lanyard hole in the butt cap (very hard to do), re-groove and dye the handle. I also have an M-3 Trench Knife. All these were value priced and worth lots more than I paid. I keep a utility/combat knife in my truck for "emergencies" and my boys would rather take their pilot survival knives on Scout hikes that the Randalls I bought them. Most people call the fighting/utility knives, regardless of who made them (Camillus, Kabar, Ontario, etc.) "kabar's" in a generic fashion, but I think they should be called "Cammies" or something. They are great value for the price! If I get called up for Kosovo, I'm taking one or two with me.

Bruce,

You bought your kids Randalls?! I had to beg my parents for a Spyderco Delica for Christmas. Please don't take this that I fault you for that, its just that many parents don't appreciate fine knives. Oh, yeah, I also like Camillus too, just that your post saying you had Randalls for your kids caught my eye.

Roadrunner, I repent for misleading in an effort to be brief. Actually, I "gave" my two sons and son-in-law (just like a son--great guy) Randalls from my meager collection. My wife limited my ownership to six Randall knives so I gave some away to make room to purchase a couple more. Please don't tell my wife! They usually take their Camillus pilot survival knives into the woods because they have (as young scouts) lost them a couple of times and are convenient to replace.

Roadrunner, I hope I haven't set a bad example for you! Good Luck.

I just ordered a Cuda folder myself. Got to see one for a few minutes, and I liked it. I was considering getting the Genisis Edge folder, but changed my mind. Haven't got it yet, but can't wait til it does come. Anything else by them worth getting?

Bruce,
I love it!
"Cammies"
You should be in our sales department!

As we have Phil as a resource, the question is:what knives were War Dept.,Dept. of The Navy,USAAF,AF or DoD issue.I think that I have all of them but, maybe not. Please include bayonets and special purpose edged and pointy things.
