What can we do?

Reading the various posts here on knife law is enlightening. Obviously, most of us don't appreciate at least some of these laws (I for one don't believe in blade length limits. It is quite possible to kill someone with a short blade if you know how. Convicts in prisons do it all the time). IS there any way we can lobby to get these knife laws changed, to take some teeth out of them? The gun-rights orgs are good, but they are concerned mainly with firearms. Are there any knife-rights orgs?

The American Knife and Tool Institute is the knife owner's rights organization. Web page is at www.akti.org and they have a forum here in the General section. (Unfortunately, the forum doesn't see many posts these days, but there's a lot of good info archived there.)

AKTI is still young and it's still getting organized. They have had some notable successes in the last couple of years though, particularly in CA.
