What can you do with an odd little piece of 5160?

I was looking at that small piece of 5160 and couldn't decide what to do with it, so i kept grinding and grinding and here is the result.

Not bad at all , in my opinion. It actually has some size and shape concepts in it I intend to apply to my new line of foghters, wich I intend to show you soon.
Handle : 3 1/4" long, cord wrapped ray skin
blade: 5160 steel, a little over 1/8" thick, 2 1/2" long, horizontally polished, chisel ground
I should resin soak its handle and make a sheath for it sometime during this week.
After all those thick tough K-100 blades, a small thin piece like this is really fun to make.
Let me know what you think, guys.

very nice!

I must confess, while I was looking at it my mind automatically added a few inches to the blade, made it upswept, and put a flat grind on it--egads, its the Persian-style knife that Ivan hasn't made yet!

Thanks for your posts, gentleman, and sorry for not answering before. I spent ten days without my computer unexpectedly -harware problems...
Reagrding the persian knife, I really have not made one but have one on the drawing board. Chisel ground, though.
I am a bit busy finishing the March issue of www.cutelariahoje.com.br, wich should be up on 03/15, so Iu don't know when i am going to have the time to make these knives became reality, but I'll eventually make it.
Best regards
