Hi guys,
Some background: After a couple of years of trying out different knives, I've come to realize that a 3" folder is about the most useful knife for me. I've also come to realize that, of all the production folders I've handled, there is only one that fits me just about right - the small Sebenza. It's not because it's a Sebenza
, but rather because the handle on the small Sebenza is 4" long and just wide enough to provide a good grip.
To the present day: I recently decided to sell most of the production knives I own and purchase a small Sebenza. However, I then started thinking about the fact that I could possibly purchase a custom folder for about the same price, maybe a little more. To that end, I started looking around and found a knife by Andrew Demko that looks like it could be a good fit.
Here's the specs:
4.25" closed
3" blade length
S30V steel
Titanium handles
3/16" thick.
And something about an adjustable thumbstud...
Finally - to the question! I tried googling Demko, but couldn't find any real information about the maker. Who here knows about the man, and has any opinions on his work?
Thanks,
Matthew
