If you don't get any answers here within a day or so, you might ask to have this thread moved to the Schrade Collectors forum. There are some folks who specialize in Schrade knives who hang out there and who don't visit Traditional very often.

Most of the major cutlery companies were intertwined with one another. I'm guessing that some of the Schrade aficionados will know about this.

The below thread talks a little about the company. Other info I found outside of BFC suggested, or it was related, the knives were "cheap" dime/drug store knives made by Providence Cutlery Company (apparently a separate company from Colonial, Imperial, or Ideal) founded in or around 1916 and in business making inexpensive knives up until at least the mid 80's. All the other information I found suggested the knife was sold at around the same price point which you bought it. I'm not sure if this info is correct or not.

Try Bernard Levine's sub. Might have better results.

I have two of those. One has white scales and one black. Neither on has any graphics on the handles but both have identical scrollwork on the bolsters. I don't know much about them but do know that my white handled knife had some galling between the blade and the spring. A small amount of molybdenum disulfide grease helped out a lot. Make sure that you keep the joints oiled on yours.

I don't know about dates but if I had to guess, I would say '70s or '80s.
