Sorry to say Grandpa, 94 yrs old, passed away. A knife has come into my possesion that I would like more info about. So, here it is, (can't scan and post till sometime next week)
Folder, blades on both sides. Description with bolsters up. 5" overall length, ring on bottom, 3 blades on the left side.
#1...3.75" Saw blade, marked "Rodgers Cutlers to her Majesty" op side Asterisk and Surfer Cross(plus sign that is fatter at the end of the lines).
#2... Main knife blade 3.5" on flat marked "Joseph Rodgers & Sons", marked near bolster "No 6 Norfolk Sheffield", also has Asterisk and Surfer Cross.
#3...2.5" this blade marked same as #1
Handle material is Stag(Horn) and has a small plate on its length(.125" x 1")
Right side of the knife has a Large hoof pick that covers three blades with no markings,
#4...Corkscrew
#5...Drill type with screw head then hollowed out to relieve material being drilled.
#6... Awl.
Right side bottom of handle(horn) has tweezers (pull out like SAK) Op side has space for Toothpick? (missing)
Knife is well worn and absolutely Gorgeous
IMHO
.
What can you tell me?
