We have seen a lot of knife collaborations come and go. Some good, some not so good, some spectacular! I was really impressed with the Buck/Strider line. Which collaboration would YOU personally love to see happen? I would LOVE to see some Walter Brend designed fixed blades produced by Busse... Ahhhhh, I can dream. What would you like to see?

34 views and no replies? What's wrong witcha?!?

The threadkiller strikes again!!!!!!!!

Spyderco and Brian Tighe.

That sounds cool.

I'd also like to see some of the old R.e.k.a.t. designs resurface somewhere. I think Bob Taylor designed most if not all of them. I'd LOVE to see a Pocket Hobbit made by Microtech. Schwing!

I would like to see begg and broker do a bodega in the broker plus line. And UB
Upgrade its field marshal to ikbs. I would also love to see companies utilize overseas counterfeit factories to contract authorized replicas. It would turn a bad thing into good. Guitar companies offer import and domestic models with identical specs with decent success for both. Sometimes the lower cost item even has better parts and both lines sell well. You could see it as counterfeit reform.

Ken Onion/Spyderco. Maybe get some aluminum handled, assisted opening, Spydie thing going.

I'd love to see Ken Onion and Sal Glesser brainstorming. Have they ever gotten together before?

I saw a thread regarding this. The SIFU is supposed to be in the process of being made into a Spyderco version.

(It is in the "Sal's Casual Bombshell" thread on the main Spyderco factory forum—not the one on this forum.)

Wow, no kidding?! That's great news to hear! I loved the Sifu. I had 3 of them - one had lock problems so I sent it in and Bob Taylor fixed it. Other than that I never had problems with them and I loved the knives. I would love to see what Spyderco will do with that design! I'm going to go check it out. Thanks for the heads up GCG199!

I would love to see what would come out of a Todd Begg, Jesse Jarosz collaboration. Two artists who know form and function.

Several weeks ago, I had the extreme pleasure to talk to Kelly McCann, while having a Guinness with him :) He showed me the proto-type Canis made by another maker. That project is not going forward - as I am sure it is old news here. It would be awesome if Spyderco or ZT would pick up this collaboration project.

I think Boker would do Laconico better.

I would buy five....

Five? Wait. Let me think. Two Blasts, three Jasmines, and a slim EDC.

Okay, Six.

Kirby Lambert and ZT. I'd love a lambert designed chunky, ti bolstered, thumb stud opener with zt quality and pricing.

Jake Hoback and Spyderco for a production Kwaiback.

Peter Rassenti and Spyderco for a production SNAFU.
