Now that we have some awesome pics, what color handles are you going to get? What color blade?

I’m thinking black/black & red… or black/black & tan (or black/black G-10) - blue and orange look pretty cool, but, IMO, they don’t really fit this model and its purpose. I do really like black/black, but I want something different.

What say you???

If you plan on getting another color blade (green or muddy), what color handles are you going to get with that?
 
I thought all the color options looked bad ars, but I eventually settled with black paper. What can I say, I'm cheap :o

My biggest problem was picking blade color. I couldn't picture an AA in any other coating besides black just because it's never been coated in any other color.
 
I'm really bummed that Tanker Grey isn't an option for blade color... :( ...And rather surprised that muddy is. :confused:

Guess that means black with tan canvas and another with black canvas, and Sage with black paper... Subject to change as I haven't ordered yet. :)

With you RussMo, Black and Black G10 is spot on for this knife. All we need is to get those Bears you got up there to poop two, one for me and one for you!
 
I've got to where my favorites are black canvas on sage and then green/black g10 on sage
my old favorite is black g10 on jungle green

Hey Rick, Yep they would be trying to dart the bear for possesses, transports or transfers a prohibited weapon. Poor Bear;)
 
After some digging on badmojo, I found this one of a kind AA that is a form of desert sage ("artillery desert tan"). I must have looked at this picture a thousand times thinking it was double cut but in bad lighting, I guess it doesn't hurt to read the caption :o



It doesn't help anyone with scale color but you could possibly get an idea of how the sclaes and finish would mix.

I really HATE New York and its stupid arse knife/gun laws! Not to say I won't get a black, black/red (maybe green, black paper or G-10 - BP & green, IMO, look awesome - I just got my DSF variant {front serrations & slight re-curve} w/ black paper & green blade and I love it) AA, but it will be a pain!

I must say though; the DSF w/ serrations & re-curve may make a better S/D knife than the AA (for me). :eek: The knuckles on the AA will really compromise any other grip if you ever had to use the knife. I do really like the double edge though – excellent feature!
