What color combinations blade and handle do you like. Best?

I've been looking at some of the Dawson Tactical offerings and notice the proliferation of both blade and knife handle combinations.

These same combinations are available from a lot of makers of tactical knives, both fixed blades and folders. ESEE for instance offers a lot of them, for instance.

Blades are available in black, olive drab green & flat dark earth (sometimes called "coyote"), as well as "bronze".

Handles come in black, desert tan and OD green.

Of course black & black is very classic, but I'm wondering if there are other combinations that you particularly like?

I've been thinking about an FDE blade and OD micarta combo, but haven't seen it pictured.

I have a black blade / OD green Buck-Strider I like a lot.

Show em if ya got em! What's your pleasure.

I like stone washed blades, hides scratches. Handles, I gravitate toward earth tones and black.

I like either a shiny not satin blade with black handle or a black blade with desert tan handle

I tend to like black blades and black handles. Boring eh?
But... I love this job I just had done on a fixed... So black and red will be my 1st choice but I could not find anything like that, so I had it done :)

Stone or Acidwash blades and Ghost Jade scales.

If Ghost Jade isn't an option, it get it made.

Didn't think I would like it but bought it anyway and I have to say it looks very good in person.

I prefer a buck style tumble finish or a stonewash on stainless blades, black , blaze orange, or green handles ( including od green ) for stainless blades.
One thing I don't like is a coated blade with uncoated liners
And I prefer patina of bluing on carbon blades. since these are gonna be traditionals, I will go with whatever's available that I think looks nice for the handles.

Satin finish blade - just steel.
For your tactical application I think tan blade and green handle should look nice.
There are many pictures of Spartan Blades in different configurations around.
While not exactly your knife it gives an idea.

My favorite would have to be acid-etched/stonewash for the blade and stonewashed Ti scales... You'll never think about wear again ;)

Stonewashed or coated with GunKote, by far the best coating availale in my experience.

I'm a big fan of Chris Reeve's "Grey coating with black canvas micarta", which in practice comes out as a very cool greyish blue with greenish handles. Blue+green=win
