What color is Buck's green micarta?

Does anyone have any pics of the 112 in green micarta? I like the color Copper & Clad has in their photo of the 112, but I've seen other Buck green micarta look less vibrant, kinda of like a muddy pea soup.
Here's the C&C pic? Is this the actual color? I do realize there are variations, but is this close?

I bought mine about a year ago, so it might have changed, but mine is no where near that color of green. I would describe it as olive drab. Kind of like old army fatigues. It also changes depending on how much oil or moisture it absorbs from my hands or from washing. It is an understated color. Not flashy.

Thanks, I'm not a flashy guy but I prefer a brighter green like the one pictured. Now I know to look elsewhere and I won't be disappointed when I open the box. Maybe I'll just get the black g10

I've had some OD green micarta that looked pretty nice...at first; but they've all turned brownish with use. (My green micarta Buck 501, included.)

dont have a 112, but have the 110 pro in green...yep muddy pea soup...not that vibrant green

When I'm interested in or looking at buying anything, I Google it using a few terms including the products name. Then when the results come up, at the top there is a tab called images. Click on it and scroll through the pictures, you will see lots of relevant stuff. If not adjust your search terms and go again. Save a few of your favorite pictures for a while to your pc or phone until you decide, or just because you like looking at it.

Go try it. I'm not being condescending, just trying to help!

I tried that and there was a lot of variation. Lighting conditions, white balance, etc. Most of them were closer to the one pictured in post #8 from DLT. I guess I was just hoping they changed the color to look like the one pictured on C&C s web site
Everybody has different tastes and I'd be disappointed if I spent a hundred dollars and got one that looks like the dlt pictured one.

Yeah, they all look like the one DLT has pictured.
Case has a Clover Green bone that I might go for.
I dont know why, but lately I've been looking for a knife with green scales. But all greens aren't the same.

Bone, micarta, g10, frn, etc will all have different color and textures which make them look different. Lighting plays a big role in how they each come across. Not just on camera either, but they look different in hand in different lighting as well.

It also depends if they are polished or in the “raw”, unpolished. My burlap micarta handles were polished and they haven’t changed any. But I have a few that are in the “raw” unpolished kinda whiteish looking when new and they have darkened and their color has a deeper, richer look now. I’ve oiled and used some shoe cream to speed the process. I’m not sure about the ones you are looking at but they might be unpolished.
