Maybe Kryptek Typoon would look nice or I do have white kydex and it can be roughed up and made to look very similar :)

Not sure what colour will match best but I do believe that ASH needs to be sent well south for proper storage .... ;)

I see you Andrew . . . Arctic Ghost Ash-1 or Shadow Ash-1 . . . We gotta agree on a name here ;)

Yes indeed..... one of those needs to reside in THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE asap !!! The world will spin off axis otherwise !!

Lol Andy --- when are you gonna come visit the North?! We have the largest collection of fine Ashes up here --- you're in the wrong hemisphere ;)

It has been a few years since I was last in the US now.. (09 or 10 I think)...I will be ccontinents in a couple of weeks though, Africa bound... :)

Kryptek Typhon would look great with it, or David could start with black, gray, or white and put some high Typhon flames or a "shredded" layer of Typhon over it.

Check out Blade Runner 7's Kryptek Typhon sheath by David as an example http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...rtex-NMFBM-TG-TMHR-TW?highlight=zombie+sheath

See one of David's with flames here. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Busse-s-and-a-few-more?highlight=flame+sheath

I really like that color. I tried for a Hairy Carry that color but was too late. I scored an aged bronze AK and would love another in that color.

I may make a white sheath and see how it comes out with "texturing" or antiquing. I think it will look good.

the white kydex is such a pain to keep nice and clean it will kind of fun to make it look roughed up.

The world will not spin off of its axis, as it is not SPINNING, and, ... ... There is no southern hemisphere as the world is flaaaaaaat...... So. How bout that INFI, yes?

Kryptec, apocalypse white, clear..... So many choices! I just don't want to go "too disco" for such a no-frills looking finish?!?? Tough choices!!! I am stumped.

I have worked with the clear stuff and even still have some.
But it is a poor choice for sheath material unless it is just for show and never intended for carry and certainly not for use.

Here is what happens;

If you get anything, dust fuzz, lent or whatever it will be visible forever and if it caught in the creases even more annoying as it gets stuck in there.

Some would say "make a sheath with posts and screws so you can take it apart and clean it" what I have learned about that is; the screws come loose, and you lose them or at best end up with a loose rattly sheath. I have made them, tried them and that is what happens.

If you loc-tight them to not come loose then you lose the point of the screws.

Second any sharp corners or high and low points of the knife will rub against the clear material causing rub marks that are a frosty color and become very noticeable.

I have yet to see a pic of a clear sheath after years of use :)

I am making a "White Walker" (Game of Thrones reference :) ) sheath today, we will see how it comes out.
