What combination should I get?

I'll be recieving my first paycheck next thursday and I'm planning on expanding my bali collection. I've decided to get a BM43 and a BM47. Now here's the problem:
I can't figure out what handle colors I want.

Either way I want a black handled one, and I think the 47 just screams for black handles. The 43's bowie blade, although, is a classic blade style and is thusly deserving of a classic handle color. Then again, it'll look good either way.
So do you think I should:
A) Get a 43 and a 47BLK
or
B) Get a 43BLK and a 47 BLK
or
C) Sign up for a monarch or sign on for another Tachyon

no smart-ass answers either ;)

Get 'em all.. :) The stress of debt is less than the anxiety of "wanting"...sorry I violated the "no-wise-ass" rule... ;) Given the choices maybe it would be best to stay "classical" with the 43 and it seems like everyone likes the 47 in Black?

I never trust "coatings" until they are out there for a while, but the 47 does look slick in black. I have two of the "Protos" and it sort of fits the new BM Tanto profiling.
"Hunters seek what they [WANT]..., Seekers hunt what they [NEED]"

I'd go with the Monarch.

You're already getting a Tachyon. The 43 and the 47 seem like a variation of the 42 theme, while the Monarch is something different. The only problem is that the Monarch is limited to a batch of 100 and might all be reserved by now.

I probably will go with A. Although I was just doing some heavy flipping and I found that a grippy handle would have helped.

Check out Triple Aught's picture of a 47a, and get the 43 in black. Or, just get the 47a and save the money for a Nemesis and kris blade for the Tachyon. Or, see if you can still get a Monarch instead of the Tachyon blades (only a temporary delay on the Tachyon blades though).

Personally, I would go with A. I just like the look of plain steel, and I just got a 43, and it looks SWEET!! I guess you should also ask yourself which one you see yourself using more, seeing as the balck coating does add useful grip to the handle. The 43 I got was a numbered first production run, so I'm not going to be flipping it, but I am most likely going to be getting a 43BLK in the future for manipulation use. I also have a 47a, and don't really care for the anodization, I now wish that I had waited for a plain 47. Either way, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed. Have fun spending your cash. You said that this is your first job right? It feels better buying something that you worked for, makes you appreciate it a little more I think.

Peace,
George
