What comes with a new Emerson?

I ordered my new satin finish Super Commander from TAD last night. I should receive it by next Tuesday. What comes with a new Emerson?

One other question, what are Emerson blade bushings made of?

Actually, I should get it by Monday. I just left TAD voice mail asking them to upgrade the shipping to 1 day. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting this thing!

If you are lucky, it will be an EKI crushed box. Most of my new Emerson knives came with the esteemed crush to the box, akin to the fifty-mission crush, if you will. Only once did I receive a barely crushed box and it had to go back for proper crushing.
 
I thought you wanted a smaller companion for your Strider. You had mentioned that the Super is as big as your strider, and you wanted something in the range of the Commander or Mini if I remember correct.

Mike, I just went back and read your post again. I didn't see, "What made you decide on the super commander?" before. I REALLY need that laser eye surgery...

There were several factors in my decision.

1. Availability. I can get it now.

2. Timing. If I were to get one last knife before Christmas, I needed to get it in the next 10 days or so. I'm the primary breadwinner in my household, but WAF is a concern.

3. Satin finished blade. Carrying a satin finished 4" blade Emerson versus a tiger striped AR, the satin finish Super Commander is more PC. A little, anyway...

4. ES1M similarity. I wanted to get a taste of Emerson knives, as much like they were when they were 'new', as possible. As 98 Commanders and 5 year Commanders are hard to come by, the Super Commander fit the bill nicely.

5. I like 4" blades.:)
