What controller would be best for an evenheat oven for a small shop working primarily with Elmax, 3V, and 1095?

I really love the tap controller. And with there new softwhere update it is much better then befor. I don’t have an evenheat but I baught a tap controller straight from the manufacture.

I just bought an evenheat with the ramp master. It seems good so far. I like the ability to program everything I need. Not sure about the others!

I have the KH418 with the TAP controller and the solid state relay and it's pretty slick.

I'm still waiting for the voice recognition AI controller that you tell what you want and it sets the program. It isn't that far away.

From what I have heard, the TAP s really nice.

Anyone know if the TAP wi-fi setup is working now? It should allow you to monitor/control the oven from your phone or computer. IIRC, it would also allow the HT regime to be recorded and graphed.

How'd you get in touch with them JT? Those assholes won't respond to any of my "contact form" submissions. Or did you order one of the "conversions" they sell on their webstore?

I actually have a couple of the controllers that came off an evenheat, but I need a wiring diagram.

I like my rampmaster. I'm sure tap is great, but I generally don't like touchscreen anything in the shop.

I have a direct email to them. I bought a controller straight from them befor thy had them listed for sale. We have swapped emails quite s few times. What are you needing, I might be able to help you out. Send me a PM
Thy emailed me a bata softwhere update a little while ago that solved a host of problems and now I love the controller.

Yes the WiFi is up and working. I don’t have the WiFi add on but my oven is plugged straight into my roughter in my shop. It allows me to use the app and check on the oven any time. My big beaf is I want to be able to remotely start schedules. The best I can come up with is making a schedule that has a long delay and then when I want to start the oven I log in and bypas this delay.

How come my box gets full and it does not tell me, gurr

The TAP looks mighty nice but I'm a little concerned about a touchscreen in the shop. I'm in a 1-car garage so there isn't a lot of room for all the grinding dust and what not to go. Are these units sealed? Seems like an environment that may be likely to fry sensitive electronics.

They're sealed as well as any of the button based controllers, maybe better. If you smack the screen with something hard enough it'll prob crack, but they'll sell you a replacement board if necessary. I wouldn't say it's any more of a concern than the screens on the non-touch models.

I wouldn't recommend having it right next to a grinder or having anything throwing hot sparks onto it (welder, angle grinder, etc), but otherwise it should be fine. I know of a number of full-time makers using them that haven't had any issues.
