What Convinced Me...

sometime ago to upgrade to gold is the fact that besides being a teriffic place to learn and talk about knives(Buck's and others)this site, BladeForums, is advertising/commerical free. Spark could make alot more money(if he makes any) allowing ads/pop-ups/commercials etc.

I for one, wanted to support this. Some are not bothered by all the commercialization that bombards us everyday...I'm just a sensitive kinda guy;) and appreciate Spark's and the Mod's efforts to keep this site "CLEAN". Preston
 
I went gold a while back, thinking I would start selling off some of my duplicates, like that ever happened :cool: Maybe one of these days...

Now I will watch and see how this all plays out and hope it makes it easier to buy and sell Buck knives here.. There are still a few I want to add, and too many I need to trimm down.... maybe, kinda , sorta,,,,:o :rolleyes:

Like man i can relate! but as i said i cant keep them all!

Well it was ad free but at least they arent pop ups!!!!! Yes thanks for the "clean site"
Hopefully we're well on our way to Buck trading!!

I can appreciate the wealth of information this site provides and the knowledge
that you guys have and share. WELL worth the few bucks a year to help keep the site going. It's just plain old fun!

I kind of like the ads...I clicked on one of the ads yesterday, scrolled through the drop-down list, and found an interesting dealer with Buck knives in stock for reasonable [what I've paid on eBay] prices...I added that to my Bookmarks... ;) :D
 
i jest noticed the google stuff...well i have been sick !
should be buck ad's....
oh well its ok with me as it is not intrusive
computer banwith is not cheep
with out it gold could have been 35 ... who knows

It is Buck ads...Whups, it keeps jumping around...Keep looking for "Buck Knife"...It was last on the right; now it's next to last...keeps changing... :D
