What kinds of custom things have been done with alemite Crickets? I'm sure there is some pretty neat engravings out there. Anyone have any photos or descriptions?

Thanks, Dan

Well, mine isn't engraved, but it has a Yin/Yang on the front side, made with pearl and jet(i think). The clip side is just the grey almite color, have been thinking of having engraving done on it. I think this was done up by Sante Fe Stoneworks, but I'm not 100% sure. I got it through Patti (Lokilani), before she moved from the Island to Golden.

Brian:

I've seen photos of that style knife and always kick myself for not purchasing one from Patti. It's a great design and I'd love to find one!

Yeah, I was lucky to get it. Mine also has a plain edge, the regular Cricket I have is serrated; I like the plain better for everyday chores like envelopes etc.
I sure would like to get a Cricket done by Frank Recoupero, his stuff is just so well done.
Ah well, maybe someday.

Yup, those are the ones I was thinking of!
Thanks Larry!
BTW, my Sebbie is much appreciated, thanks for the trade! Hope you're happy on your end.

Your welcome Brian,
Franks work is great. He keeps coming up with new handle materials constantly.
I think the Cricket is one of his favorite
knives to work with...
