What current models are mad in China?

That sounds about right. It seems most of their production is in Taiwan these days. A few machete models from recent years were Chinese, but I think they've moved all their machete production back to South Africa. If you're concerned over the quality of Chinese made CS stuff, though, there's no need to be. The Shanghai Shadow, GI Tanto, and older 4116 PeaceKeeper models I have are all Chinese and are all flawless.

Thanks for the replies, What about the new 2013 Spike series, anyone know what country they are from?

I am not worried about quality just personal preference, I have a Kudu and its great quality knife for the price :)

To my knowledge the only knives made in China are the True Flight Thrower, the GI Tanto, the Shanghai Shadow and the Kudu

i had have GI TANTO AND True Flight Thrower, very cool.

i got both from you America , i boought them back , funny internationally trade.:D

i really wanna see some versions in 5160 steel from CS.
